Soul Chamber
Two programs rewriting each other's source code to win, continuously, on a single Raspberry Pi.

A self-modifying co-evolutionary experiment. Two Python organisms read each other's source and evolve through an LLM oracle, each trying to defeat the other. It runs isolated on dedicated hardware, deliberately outside the governed environment the rest of the ecosystem runs in.
The value is not the game. It is a contained place to watch what autonomous self-modification actually does over long runs, where the answer cannot damage anything that matters.
Next step
Run it long enough to produce a record worth reading, and publish what the organisms actually did.
