Buy work, not equity

The Fire Year Fund — $55,328
The smallest ask, and the one that changes the most. It is exactly twelve months of one person building without wage labour: living costs, cloud, and test devices. It is not venture capital and takes no equity, because at this size equity is the wrong instrument — it is a grant, a sponsorship, or a patron.
What it buys, specifically: hardening
sentinel_core — the execution-governance implementation described on
the AURA-Lab page — into a published, documented
dependency other projects can adopt; finishing the ChronoSophia geometry path so
that a request for a chair produces a chair; and closing the two small
commercial blockers below.
The most honest thing on this page. ChronoSophia sells at $29.99, perpetual, one machine. It is not yet earning, and the reasons are unglamorous and precise: the installer is unsigned, which costs about $120 a year to fix, and checkout is being wired through Stripe with the merchant-of-record/tax gate treated as a launch blocker rather than hand-waved.
Neither is a research problem. Both are a cashflow problem, which is the entire argument for this tier.
RFTP — $500,000
A focused technical round for the Reflective File Transfer Protocol: $200K for two senior Rust engineers for six months, $150K for benchmark infrastructure, $100K for the partnership work to get it in front of the organisations whose transfer volumes make the difference material.
The thesis is that intent-gated transfer moves less data, and moving less data costs less energy. The honest state of that claim is that it has not yet been measured on a bench, and the first thing this round funds is the measurement — because a protocol pitched on energy has to arrive with joules, not with a percentage of a global total.
The long horizon
There is a five-year plan at a far larger scale, covering education, policy and standardisation of the governance layer. It exists, it is written down, and it is deliberately not the subject of a first conversation. Ask for it once the above makes sense to you.
What actually exists
Two products are live. The governance implementation behind them is real code. The rest of the catalogue is at honestly different stages, and the directory states each one — including the projects that are one commit old and the robot that has never been assembled.
